Hi there! 🙂
Today we are going to talk about eyebrow pencils. And guess what? Choosing a brow pencil may be quite a challenge! There’s no denying that choosing the right shade is the key. We should choose a shade that matches our natural brow color and skin tone. Besides, a good eyebrow pencil must stay on all day. After all, you don’t want your eyebrows to disappear after a few hours. It’s better to avoid situations where you need to do touch-ups in front of the mirror in the middle of the day. Another factor worth paying attention to is the comfort of the application. And last, but not least, the formula! After all, the point is to choose cosmetics that serve your skin well 🙂

Comparison of the best brow pencils – Nanobrow, Too Faced, Rare Beauty, Bobbi Brown, Lancome
Nanobrow Eyebrow Pencil
Shades ➔ blonde, light brown, dark brown, espresso
If you’re looking around for a good brow pencil, you need to look no further! Here is my new favorite – Nanobrow Eyebrow Pencil 🙂 It’s extremely easy to use – even for beginners! There is no need to spend hours trying to create the right shape for your eyebrows – Nanobrow pencil, with its very precise tip, has everything under control. It’s really remarkable how easy it is to achieve the perfect, natural brow look with this eyebrow pencil. The pencil perfectly fills in any imperfections and draws lines so thin that they resemble real brow hairs. It’s waterproof, which means you don’t have to worry about your eyebrows wearing out in the heat or if your skin is prone to oiliness. The Nanobrow pencil comes in several neutral shades to choose from, so everyone can select the right color for themselves. However, that’s not all. The pencil also has a built-in mini brush, which allows you to brush out the eyebrows and give them the right direction. If I had to rate it, it would definitely get a 10/10 from me!
Too Faced Super Fine Brow Detailer
Shades➔ natural blonde, taupe, auburn, soft brown, medium brown, dark brown, espresso, soft black
Although I was initially skeptical about this popular brow pencil, I was surprised by the effect after the first use. First of all, it’s very easy to use so you can quickly and precisely fill in your eyebrows. I also noticed its durability, it stays on the skin and brow hairs for many hours. The slightly dry, but not too hard formula allows you to precisely define eyebrow (which in my case is a serious challenge). Overall, the product is comfortable to use and fun to work with. And most importantly, it defines the brows nicely and naturally, without creating an overdrawn effect. Unfortunately, like every product, this brow pencil has its drawbacks. For example, the price – for some it can be too high. However, considering the quality and durability of the product, I think this detail does not disqualify it! 🙂
Rare Beauty Brow Harmony Shape & Fill Duo
Shades ➔ soft blonde, rich taupe, warm brown, warm auburn, cool brown, deep brown, ash gray, soft black
Rare Beauty cosmetics are trending now, so I couldn’t help but test them out! I chose the Harmony Shape & Fill Duo pencil with built-in mini brow gel. My rating of the eyebrow crayon from Selena Gomez is as “+” as possible. It definitely makes my daily makeup easier, and the effect is very subtle. Because of the brow gel, the packaging is quite large, but it fits quite comfortably in the hand while doing my makeup. However, I do have a few comments. The first – the tip is not very precise. It works well when you want to fill in the arches with color without camouflaging sparse areas. As for the brow gel placed on the other side of the pencil – it’s an interesting idea, but in my case, it does not work. Its shade completely does not match the eyebrow pencil. It looked too red, on top of which it glued my brow hairs together in a messy way. However, it is worth noting that the Rare Beauty brow pencil looks natural on the eyebrows, without leaving the overdrawn finish.
Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Long-Wear Brow Pencil
Shades ➔ blonde, honey brown, mahogany, rich brown, saddle, slate
I’ve always wanted to test some products from Bobbi Brown, but their prices are way beyond my budget. However, I was finally tempted by the popular Perfectly Defined Long-Wear Brow Pencil. How would I rate it? Let me start with the advantages of the pencil. Its first obvious benefit is that it blends perfectly with my eyebrows. The shade I chose blends in very naturally with my skin tone. As for the disadvantages of this brow pencil, it’s worth mentioning that it can be quite difficult to apply. It requires some skill and patience to achieve the desired effect. The tip is unfortunately quite wide, which doesn’t work well for my sparse eyebrows. It’s hard to draw individual hair-like strokes with it, despite the slanted tip shape. Plus, it comes in a small size for such a high price. Although, after testing the Bobbi Brown brow pencil and do not regret it – at least I know not to buy it again.
Lancome Brow Define Pencil
Colors ➔ blonde, chestnut, brown, dark brown
Lancome Brow Define Pencil also deserves a place in this mini-ranking 🙂 Well, if you are looking for an answer to which brow pencil to choose, this option can certainly interest you. The advantage of the Lancome brow pencil is, first of all, precision, so that you can do your eyebrow makeup very precisely, filling in the gaps. The price is a bit over the top, but it seems that it’s worth to sometimes treat yourself, right? However, if you don’t like to spend a long time drawing individual brow hairs and prefer to do your daily makeup quickly and efficiently, this pencil may seem too tricky for you. The tip is thin and comfortable. Unfortunately, the tip has already broken once while filling in my eyebrows, but maybe I came across a defective product. Has it ever happened to you too? 🙁
